Weekend Spent doing a mural

Well this weekend was spent preparing a new baby for arrival.  Really…just the baby’s room.  I had completed a previous ceiling mural for this couple a few years back and they wanted one for the new baby due in May. The mural I did for their first child was a daytime sky. It came out truly fine.

The mural they had in mind for this room was a night sky, with lots of stars including a north star and a moon.  I made the North Star and Moon Glow in the dark. Took me a total of 11 hours to produce this one, and my neck is letting me know. I know tomorrow my arms will be feeling it as well. Either way thought I would share the pictures. Enjoy..

I love to cook and travel. There is nothing like experiencing new cultures and of course the food. I am really happy doing charcuterie trays, this has been my new obsession for the last two years. So much creativity and fun goes into each board.

I have no formal training in nutrition or in cooking, however, I love to do it and my family reaps the benefits.

Enjoy the blog, I would love to hear from you!
