Ingredients
  

  • For filling
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 1/2 tablespoon butter
  • pie crust
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 cup vegetable shortening
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/3 cup cold water
  • 1 tbs. vinegar

Instructions
 

  • for the pie crust
  • Mix the flour and salt. Cut in the shortening. Combine remaining ingredients and stir into shortening mixture. Let stand a few minutes. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to desired thickness. (This makes 3-4 pie shells)
  • for the filling
  • Combine flour, sugar and cinnamon together, and put in bottom of pie shell. Put in one pat of butter, then milk. Bake at 350 degrees until crust is brown, approximately 45-55 minutes.
