Well New Years was fun and certainly turned out to be busier than expected. Sooo although I was able to get some pics in of the food we made, I stopped before dinner and just had fun with our company.
The first appetizer is called Hot Brie bites (bet you can’t tell I love brie) lol
What you will need;
- 2/3 lb brie cheese , wedges are okay
- 1 package of Filo Pastry Dough
- hot pepper jelly
Preheat oven to 400
Directions:
1 Cut brie into one-half inch squares.
2 Place on a dinner plate in the freezer while thawing pastry at room temperature for 30 minutes.
3 When pastry is thawed, unfold on a slightly floured surface. Separate them by five sheets and spray with cooking spray.
4 Cut each sheet in fourths, and then cut each forth in half creating 8 even squares.
5 Dollop a bit of Jelly onto each square.

6 Top with a square of cheese.

7 Fold the dough and spray with oil to hold closed

8 The pointed edges of the dough should meet in the middle.
9 Place on a greased cookie sheet.
10 Bake at 400 for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden. (watch that they don’t burn)
